As the sun makes it’s annual
transit of Virgo until the autumnal equinox on September 22nd, we
experience an increased sensitivity to matters relating to personal health.
Mercury in retrograde until September 12th predisposes us to
re-experience old, potentially dysfunctional patterns of body, mind and
communication. For the yogi this is a fertile time for practice. Some of our
most persistent patterns (samskaras) may be in our face now, asking for
recognition at the very least, and perhaps offering the opportunity for
resolution and release.
There is a tendency to wallow during Mercury retrograde and to externalize responsibility for our suffering by blaming our spouse, our job, the economy, the planets etc. Our yoga practice gives us an opportunity to recognize that we alone are responsible for the quality of our life. By calmly observing the patterns of our physiology, and the nature of our thoughts and feelings, we begin to identify with the source of our awareness rather than the content of it. This gives us clarity, perspective, and compassion in our journey of self inquiry during this Mercury retrograde cycle.

I love that you write, I would just rather see it in a completed novel so that it remains sacred.

Who is to judge what constitutes a certain medium as sacred. Sharing on-line is probably the most democratic and far-reaching medium at this time. Print it out and put it in a folder if you worry about losing it. With all respect and understanding to all opinions.
